A wonderful blend of history and cultural knowledge and some really yummy sounding recipes. 

If I could sum it up in one word it would be Compassionate. This book is brilliant and helpful and gives you plenty of recipes and knowledge but it does so with so much compassion and understanding of neurodivergence and the stressors of life that it’s just like amazing? You know when you are an absolute depression slug but your wildly brilliant friend shows up and helps clean or washes your hair or drops off something on your porch? It’s like if that was a book. I want to buy a copy for everyone I know.
