As if this book needs another positive review, here’s another. I don’t read romance often and I thought this book was fun and endearing. I enjoyed the diverse representation, especially of a main character with a disability, and I thought the characters were well developed and believable. There are a lot of predictable plot points, but it still feels fresh. Last, this book was steamy in a really enjoyable way. The sexy scenes focused on realistic pleasure and consent.

This is one of the best graphic novels I’ve read! I absolutely loved the two contrasting art styles and how the author merged them as the story developed. The main character has major responsibilities (a common YA trope) but she struggles in such a believable way. I finished this and promptly placed a hold for the sequel.

Another great story by Lisa Jewel! I listened to this audiobook and the voice acting really enhanced my enjoyment. It was told from several different perspectives and on various timelines, similar to other LJ novels. I loved how this story centered an older female main character in a way that embraced all of her facets.
