Riley Sager definitely knows how to keep me reading. I absolutely loved Lock Every Door and enjoyed Final Girls, so I gave his newest novel a chance despite seeing bad reviews all over Book Tube.

This book has the believability issues that many of the bad reviews discuss, but overall if you can put that aside I thought it was an okay to kinda fun thriller. Is it RS’s best? Nah. Do I regret reading it? Nope.

If you’re reading this review, you probably devoured the first two books in this series and let me tell you #3 DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. The characters continue to grow in complexity in this installment and it’s really lovely to see how they navigate personal challenges and relationships on a school field trip to Paris. This has so much depth compared to the first two, but still all of the adorable fun. I can’t wait for the fourth!
