I can see what all the hype is about surround this book! I really enjoyed the book overall but I think I was expecting more because of all the good things I heard. I loved the plot line and thought it was original, especially with great twist at the end. My only complaint is that I wish there would have been more explanation or character development past the main twist. A good read if you’re looking for an unique thriller!
I gave this book four stars because it was gripping and one that you could not put down, the only thing I was not a fan of was the surface level character backstories. I would have loved to know more about where they came from and how they got to this rest stop.
I just finished my January unreadshelf project book, An Anonymous Girl! I really enjoyed this book and will be picking up The Wife Between Us because I really liked Greer and Sarah’s writing styles together. I always enjoy a book with different character perspectives and this one was no different. I gave it 4 stars because although I liked the book and felt it was an original story, I felt like it dragged on a bit at the end and would have preferred it to be less twisty so I could follow the storyline better.
I just finished one of my BOTM that I have had on my shelf since I believe November. I actually really enjoyed this one and even though it could be predictable at times, I found that there were twists and turns that kept it interesting! I also really liked how fast paced it was and for this reason I was able to finish it in less than three days.
