I have no idea why I waited to read this book even if it is so different from the other series written by this author. I loved the characters so very much I especially loved Emilia and Wrath both were such interesting characters they also had great chemistry. What I loved about Emilia was her determination to find out why her sister was murdered and what led up to this happening to her. I loved the sheer amount of chemistry between Emilia and Wrath was amazing from the start looking forward to where it all goes from here. I loved the plot it starts with Emilia's everyday life to lead up to finding her sister's body so she sets out to find out the who and why she summons a demon named Wrath other things happen they are like oil and water but have great chemistry other things are found out looking forward to reading more soon.

This book was really good and well written I loved both the story and the characters will read more when more comes out. The characters were really interesting to read about I especially loved Toby and Thon they had great chemistry and fit so well together. There also were other great characters that added much to the story. The plot was really interesting it starts after Toby's Dad dies he finds out about the death of his Grandfather and ends up with his house he finds out some truths about himself and others there are terrible hunters which they get rid of and wonderful romance looking forward to reading more.

I loved this book so much this author never disappoints I love her writing and characters so much looking forward to whatever she writes next. I loved the characters so much especially Liv and Calder they fit well together had a connection pretty early on. What I loved about Liv was one her strength both of body and character her willingness to do what she has to to protect the people she cares for after so much was taken from her. I loved Calder for his understanding how he treats Liv would do anything so that she would live. There are other great characters like Armund Calder's Father a wise and strong man who gives back just a little of what Liv is missing. I loved the plot a great Viking story of loss and vengeance as well as a romance for the ages it starts with Hodor having vision telling his family with only Liv believing him things play out like the vision and Liv loses everything and gets the help of a Norn to survive and get her vengeance so she sets out to kill the one who massacred her family meets a great love and a new family and finally those she loves is avenged and she now has her whole life ahead of her.

This was an amazing read I loved everything about it from the characters to the story there was never a dull moment it was fast paced and had a wonderful romance and ending. I loved the characters so much especially Lane and Aden they had great chemistry the romance built at just the right pace not too slow or too fast. I loved Lane for strength of character for her actual strength as well she is a girl that has to hide because of a law after something awful happened so female sailor are persecuted because of it. She is a great character willing to do so much for those she loves I also loved how Aden developed how some things happened but they still got their happy ever after. The plot was really great it starts with Lane telling of how female sailors are outlawed and executed it caught so she hides on her Father's ship things happen she makes a deal with Aden so they go back to the ship. Other things happen there is a duel after that mutiny happens so they get caught and then get separated. After awhile Lane finds Aden so they go to save his kingdom and his family many things are found out there is finally a happy ending loved it so much.

This book was amazing I am hoping for more or even another book with a similar theme a really well written story. The characters are great and so well written I loved the romance between Wesley and Sebastian one who really looks down on myself and is mostly just nice to Sebastian while the other is a bit insecure about many things and blames himself for things that are not his fault. I loved the romance between them and how each of them tackled the issues that have about themselves. The plot was interesting it starts with the MCs going to America and trying to what happened to the group. Other things happened the relationship is really interesting things are found out people are saved and there is a happy for now ending.
