As always this series is a great fun read with many interesting parts to it it expands all the points of the story looking forward to reading more soon. The characters are great as always I loved Scarlett the most she is super funny and I love her antics so much. I also loved her growing relationship with Charlemagne she now accepts she has feelings for him she is still oblivious of his though this causes many misunderstandings. There are so many great other characters that add so much to the story it was a great read looking forward to reading more soon. The plot was interesting it picks up right where it left off with more being found about the terrible Duke as well as more about Charlemagne and Scarlett and their feelings for each other that the other is oblivious of the story was really interesting looking forward to reading more soon.

This series is amazing as always there are well written characters and story I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The characters are always great to read about I especially loved Xie Lian and Hua Cheng they are both strong in multiple ways I also love how their relationship is growing. There are other interesting characters that add so much to the story there is also a twist early on that is well executed. I also like how many things are explained and more is told why other things happened throughout the story. The plot was amazing I loved everything about it from the twist to learning why other things happened I also loved how much closer Xie Lian and Hua Cheng is I am really looking forward to the last volume.

I loved this book it had great characters and story and the atmosphere fit so well into it all this made for a great gothic story that stays around for awhile. I really loved the characters especially Effy and Preston they did clash at first but once they got to know one another the chemistry was great I loved the romance between them. I loved Effy as a character for how she goes from a scared girl who does her best to not be a bother and not stand up for herself to a young woman that goes for what she wants. I liked Preston for his want to find out the truth even if he did come off as kind of stuck up at the beginning but once more was known he was a great character that stood up for his beliefs. The plot was really interesting it starts with a girl Effy that has gone through so much getting a chance to design the house of her favorite author meeting Preston who seems to want to ruin the author but is actually after the truth so they find it out together with many twists along the way. There is a bit of not explained bit at the end but other than that this was an amazing book will read more by this author for sure.

I loved this book more than the previous one it had the perfect gothic atmosphere along with great characters and a very interesting story. I really loved the characters especially Verity a girl who wants to not be stuck with her sister and do things she does find out something terrible and flee and that is where the story really begins. I loved Verity for her want to do more with her life even if a terrible truth sends her running she is a great character to read about I really liked her romance with Alex even if it was a bit fast. There are many other great characters in this story Alex for one being wonderful even with all the strange things going on. I liked being back in this world especially the manor she goes to it is easy to build a picture in my mind of that place. The plot was interesting it starts with Verity wanting to be somewhere else but when she gets the opportunity her sister is against saying she needs her other things come out and Verity flees and goes to that place where things seem off from the start meets someone wonderful the son of the woman that invited her to do his portrait. Things start to seem very off very fast there are screams in the night and strange and terrible things are found out there is a happy ending for the MCs but there is something strange with the epilogue where the author could continue the series looking forward to that.

This was the best finale I have ever read tied up all the loose ends and gave the best happy ending that I could of asked for. I loved

everyone had all the good ending all the pain was made for in leaps and bounds. I loved all of the characters so much but I loved Rosalind, Celia, Phoebe and Alisa the most such great characters to read about. I loved Rosalind for her determination to get Orion back and how strong she is in many ways I loved the romance between her and Orion it took a little while to build back up , but when it did it was amazing. I loved Celia for her strength of will and all she is willing to do for those she loves I loved her romance with Oliver it brought so much to the story. I loved Phoebe for many of the same reasons of the other too she is strong and capable loved the romance of her and Silas it had some bumps in the road but by the end it was another romance for the ages. I loved Alisa for her personality she adds so much to the story without having to have a romance added on to her story she just adds so much to the story. The plot was amazing it picks up where it left off with Rosalind looking for Orion and how she feels without him there the story then moves into the other characters and their own romances. The story moves into what is going on with each group and the trouble some of them are getting into eventually there is a happy ending for all looking forward to whatever the author writes next.

This book was really good I loved everything about it from the characters to the story a great differently told Rapunzel retelling. I loved the characters so much I especially loved Selestra and Nox I loved the pace that the romance between them went at I like the chemistry they had. I loved Selestra despite the fact she was stuck there she had ways to get bits of freedom and learnt to protect herself she has a lot of guilt for something that was in no way her fault and yearns for something more. I loved Nox for his strength in many ways and for how he comes to love Selestra and to really believe in her that she could save them from the evil that is the king and her mother. The plot was really great it starts with Selestra and what goes on and how the king gets peoples souls moves to Nox with him planning his revenge other things happen they go on the run together find out many things many sad things happen and there is a well deserved happy ending.
