I really loved this book I like how vampyrs are described and the author did a great job of explaining their history it made for a well written story. I also really liked the characters especially Jason he is interesting rushed to someone's aid and eventually end up in a world he did not know existed. He is kind and caring and would do much for those in need I also like many other characters like Cooke, Taigo, Hadrian and Ode all of them added so much to the story. I really also loved Varic he is set in his ways but willing to do a lot for Jason whom is his mate he is an overall interesting character. I also loved the side pairings that cropped up with Taigo and Hadrian and also Ode and the vampr she ends up with it adds so much to the story. The story is amazing it starts with Jason rushing to someone's aid ending up in something he didn't understand to finally finding out these things are real and diving right into that world finding his mate which was unexpected for both of them having issues because of his nature and having an happy for now ending.

I loved this book this author never disappoints I loved the blend of historical and magic along with much heart with Adrien saving a couple of boys in the worst situation with him and them finding purpose and healing much along the way. I am also looking forward to the romance with Hugh going somewhere since he is just what he needs looking forward to reading about the wooing in the next book. The story was amazing it started with Adrien looking for a magical person he could sense and ended up finding a boy in the worst situation and helped both him and his friend he considered a brother after that there was much healing to be had on all sides. Many interesting things happened a start of a repair of a relationship and also a great love interest and a great relationship with the boys he helped. I also liked many of the side characters Adrien's friends and the many interesting characters that show up throughout the story. So overall I loved this book going to read the sequel real soon.

This was a very unique story it was a funny and very entertaining story I loved everything about it. I loved the characters especially Morgan she is down to earth takes most things in stride she is also fiery and doesn't mince words. Though she can be vulnerable and has her moments when it comes to other things I do like the love interest Devin the Pooka he is very interesting to read about. I loved the plot it starts with Morgan knowing nothing but then stumbling into it when she sees her vampire teacher and werewolf classmate fighting so they at first want to erase her memory but then see how good she is at teaching clueless supernatural's and everything goes from there. I am looking forward to reading more soon.
