Tw: death, violence
Arrrrrrrrgh cliffhangers! That is pure torture. How dare you just suddenly end like that, book three cannot come quick enough. I need more, this series has caught me, hook, line, and sinker. The characters are drawn out in such a way that I am emotionally invested in all their lives. But that cliff hanger arrrrrrrgh

There's so much to process, so much to think. It is one hell of a novel. I feel like it needs every single possible trigger warning out there. So much happens within it. Its truly a scary novel without relying on "jump scares" to creep you out. It's spectacularly creepy and honestly got under my skin many times. A story that'll always stay with me.
I picked this up on a whim and enjoyed it overall as an audiobook. I don't know if I would have enjoyed this as a physical book though as there was a number of moments that felt like they fell flat, they just didn't hold my interest. However, as an audio book I was able to enjoy it. This book had great potential and I will end up finishing the series as audio books.
The characters were fairly well rounded, they were very diverse (which is rare), but their diversity wasn't used as simply fluff within the story. The diversity is a shining light amongst ya lit in this day and age.

Re-read this gem of a novel, it's hilariously spectacular. The nod to Harry Potter just makes it so much better. It's full of nerdy references and well done. I love Baz and Simon
What the actual beep! How can you end like that? Arrrrgh I need answers!!!
So much happens in this novel, yet it all seems to (mostly) come together. I love how much we learn about various characters in the series. How much depth is brought into it. I fell in love with the blackthorn family (and Emma). I also developed so much hatred for certain characters

Idk if there was less annoying emailing in this one or if it just didn't bother me as much. I enjoyed this wrap up to the everlife series. I thought it did a good job of tieing up loose ends. It was full of adventures and determination.
Why why why, arghhh I hate cliff hanger endings sooooo much. How long until the next book???
Baz and Snow are just too precious for words, I love their relationship and their friendships. This book hit right in the feels sooo many times.

I wanted to absolutely love this book but I just didn't. It was a decent read but nothing overly spectacular to me. It took me a few tries to pick it up and actually get through it but I refused to give up as I've heard sooo many good things about it. I don't know why exactly but this book just didn't hold my attention or make me fall in love with it.
You know, this book is one of the few books I've read with truly kick ass female characters lately, a book where they truly don't need a man to take care of them. It's full of smart, witty, well rounded women. I'm so happy I read this gem.
