Now that I've had some time to think about this book I can finally write about it. I'm not 100% in love with this book, I didn't hate it but it didn't capture my heart like the previous books did. I felt like it wrapped everything up nicely enough but didn't have that spark for me. It was a good book but not exactly what I needed. Maybe a reread will change my mind.
This is a much read, to everyone out there. It is an empowering book about working through a "we issue" the issue of rape. Unfortunately far to many people are having to deal with rape and sexual harassment.
Hil-fucking-larious. Listened to the audio book while. Packing today and it was simply hilarious.
Overall I enjoyed this book, it did a good job of developing the characters beyond the first book. With the prospect of darkness coming after her Nadia may lose her true self to it, can she stay on the good side? I enjoyed the glimpse into the various characters lives throughout the novel, seeing them come onto themselves and their powers.
Will Nadia be able to complete her plan? Will she be able to save Captive Sounds? Or will she lose herself to the one Beneath/dark magic?
Sorceress by Claudia Gray does a wonderful job at wrapping up the series! Overall, I enjoyed this series, it wasn't something super spectacular but it was worth reading. It was an interesting take on how a society uses or doesn't use magic and the community it developes.

What the actual fuck did I just read? This novel got under my skin sooo many times. Hannah is a well written and frankly psychotic character... She is one of the most screwed up characters I've ever read and she's only 7.... SEVEN! Zoje Stage did an amazing job at creating a truly scary character that could be in anyone's house.... Behind closed doors. The things that Hannah came up with for torturing someone were truly disturbing and honestly heart breaking
This one didn't really stick with me, I didn't feel a pull with this book but still finished it. It just wasn't my cup of tea
I wanted to love this, I've seen it around for a while and kept meaning to read it but it just didn't do it for me. It felt like a stereotypical teenage girl absolutely needs the guy to come rescue her. It just had so many tropes in it and just didn't sit right. However, I will finish it!
Going into this I was not anticipating so much religion, this made it a very uncomfortable read for me. It wasn't my cup of tea. The poems were okay, but they didn't catch my attention.
So stinking cute, it was a bit of a slow burn at the beginning but wraps up nicely in the end. The main character was so developed so well, and was well rounded. It was a quick and adorable read
