Dystopian why-choose vampire romance novel? yes please!

Hero is a kick ass female who is forced to pay her father's remaining debt after his passing. Because of this she is forced to be auctioned off where she will either become a provider, become an indebted , or be sent to a work camp. Hero though she had a plan, August (a childhood friend) was going to save her, she would become indebted to him and set free... but this doesn't go as planned.... instead she ends up being purchased as a provider for The Blythe clan -- but there is a reason behind this.....

Stager pulls the reader into her dystopian world where you cannot help but love her four main characters, and truly see the love they have for each other.  I picked it up a couple times, but life got in the way, however; the last time I picked it up I DEVOURED it cover to cover in an afternoon.

As a precautionary thought I always say check your trigger warnings.
disclaimer: I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for my thoughts, however: my thoughts are 100% my own!

My 90s baby heart is absolutely ecstatic with this gem of a novel, a continuation of the Are You Afraid of The Dark! Another selection of spine-tingling collection of stories around the Hallow Fire, connecting the spirits of The October Society as they spin their lessons into spook-tacular stories! In-between the camp-fire stories we learn more about each of the main characters and how they each got to the hallow-fire.

Well that was a wild ride in the best way possible. Loved this gem of a novel that I heard about via booktok.

I was given an audio copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.  As always please check trigger warnings before reading.

This is Why They Hate Us is an wonderfully emotional read. This novel has LBGTQ+ and mental health representation and is very raw and emotional. It does also have explicit spicy scenes between minors which is a little off putting as a non minor however I do also know it is the norm for teenagers to be sexual. I do love that the MC access therapy (which helps to normalize it) and does open up about their struggles.

I picked this up on a whim and I am glad I did. It was a creepishly wonderful story that I couldn't put down.

because I read an arc of book two I felt the need to go back to book one.  A wonderful geeky love story!

I was given the chance to read A Life Unplanned in order to provide my thoughts. Seeing it was a love story that formed at Comic-Con my geeky little heart jumped on the opportunity. A Life Unplanned is a multiple point-of-view steamy romance that follows Sadie Jones and Theo Reynolds (Beaudin) from a meet-cute to a strong loving relationship. This novel takes place over a number of years, it tackles many difficult subjects (illness, miscarriage, murder, cancer, and more) while wrapping itself into a lovely story. There was a number of nerd-tastic references throughout the story, there was a very strong display of family (and found family) love and determination. I was drawn to both Sadie and Theo and just needed to know what was coming next. It was definitely an emotional roller-coaster read that kept me hooked from beginning to end.
