I absolutely loved this book and I thoroughly understand why it has become such a staple in the science fiction community. The only drawback for me was all of the head hopping within scenes, but other than that it was absolutely amazing! Lots of character growth, a drastically different world with unique perspectives on life and survival, and a wide variety of characters through whom we get to see it all unfold. I will definitely be continuing this series.

This was a fun adaptation of Shakespeare's Macbeth with original dialogue included, though it was shortened down to be closer to a typical length for manga. It was nice reading the story while having visual images in order to "see" it as it played out, which you unfortunately don't get when reading the play. It definitely makes the play easier to understand.

This book kept me guessing all the way to the end. Hannah did a wonderful job of interweaving the main story, consisting of a mysterious friend named George who supposedly never existed and sudden anonymous and threatening phone calls, with a creative writing story that has just as many weird twists written by a fourteen-year-old girl. So many turns in this story that were surprising or hard to figure out considering how many things are not known or not known for certain as the story progresses.

This book has already helped improve the writing of my current WIP so much, and I only just finished it!

Rosenfeld outlines the basics of scene structure, ways to make sure your scenes are aiding your story rather than leading it astray, and things to focus on when writing different types of scenes (i.e. contemplative, dialogue, climax, etc.). Highly recommend!
