Taylor Wilson-West absolutely wrecked me with this book. Choosing You is an emotionally raw, deeply intense, and beautifully heartbreaking MM romance that had me hooked from page one. Banks’ journey is messy, painful, and real, and watching him spiral while trying to hold onto Henry was gut wrenching in the best way.

Banks and Henry’s relationship is so complex—the love, the history, the push and pull—it’s impossible not to feel every bit of their pain and passion. Banks is so lost, drowning in grief, and his self-destructive choices had me yelling at my Kindle. But through all the heartbreak, there’s still so much love, and that made every moment between them even more powerful.

The tension, the high stakes drama, and the forbidden elements kept me on edge, and the family rivalries added another intense layer to the story. Every friendship, every loyalty shift, every difficult choice felt so real and gripping.

Kayla Grosse did it again! Whirlwind was an absolute thrill ride from start to finish, and the audiobook experience took it to the next level. The tornado and storm sound effects? Genius. They made me feel like I was right there in the chase, heart pounding, adrenaline rushing—such a cool and immersive touch that elevated the entire book.

I absolutely love how Kayla writes plus size heroines—Finley was incredible. She was strong, smart, and passionate, and I appreciated that her story wasn’t just about her body, but about who she is. She felt so real, and I loved seeing her navigate the electrifying (and forbidden) tension with Professor West. Their chemistry? Off. The. Charts. 🔥 The push and pull, the tension, the way the storms mirrored their emotions—perfection.

And the spice? Kayla never misses. 🔥🔥🔥 The forbidden professor/student dynamic combined with the high stakes, storm chasing action made this book so unique, intense, and completely addictive. It was such a fun, fresh twist on Twister (pun intended 😉), and I was hooked the entire time.

OMG this trilogy is perfection and this is the best book of the series! I am saying it now! Scythe and Sparrow by Brynne Weaver is absolute perfection—the best book in an already incredible trilogy! This finale delivered everything I wanted and more: the murder, the mayhem, the banter, the spice—it was flawless.

Fionn and Rose’s dynamic was everything. The grumpy, nerdy town doctor and the knife wielding, chaos bringing circus performer? Obsessed. Their chemistry was electric, balancing tension, tenderness, and that signature dark humor that made this series so addictive. The friends with benefits setup was delicious, but the emotional depth? Absolutely gut wrenching in the best way. Fionn is such a soft, broken heart wrapped in clinical precision, and Rose is his perfect, deadly counterpart.

The small town setting gave this book an added layer of coziness (if you can call it that when there’s so much bloodshed), and the way their pasts and demons intertwined made for such a compelling, edge of your seat read. I couldn’t put it down.

Brynne Weaver nailed this finale. It’s dark, twisted, funny, and unexpectedly emotional, wrapping up the Ruinous Love Trilogy with sheer brilliance. If you love morally gray characters, lethal women, and men who will absolutely kill for their person, this book is a must read. But do NOT forget to read the first two books because they are so worth it!

First Time Caller by B.K. Borison was everything I wanted and more—a modern, fresh take on Sleepless in Seattle that completely stole my heart! Aiden and Lucie’s chemistry was off the charts, and I adored every moment of their flirtation, banter, and slow burn romance. Their connection grew so naturally, with Aiden trying to help Lucie find love while unknowingly falling for her himself, and I was hooked from the first page.

The supporting characters—Maya, Grayson, and Maggie—added so much charm and depth to the story, making it feel warm, inviting, and full of heart. But what truly elevated the experience for me was the audiobook! The snippets of Aiden and Lucie’s on-air interactions at the beginning of each chapter were chef’s kiss. Hearing them flirt, challenge each other, and slowly fall in love made it all feel so real and immersive. It completely pulled me into their world and made the story even more engaging.

This book was equal parts swoony, funny, and heartfelt, and I couldn’t put it down. B.K. Borison absolutely nailed the balance of romance, humor, and emotional depth, making First Time Caller an easy five star read for me. Highly recommend, especially in audiobook format! 💕🎧📻

I absolutely loved Elissa Sussman’s Funny You Should Ask, so I was beyond excited to dive into Totally and Completely Fine—and it did not disappoint! I loved how this book brought back characters from FYSA and picked up in a way that felt natural, giving us a fresh yet familiar story that was just as heartfelt and engaging.

While this book has a beautiful romance at its core, it leans more into women’s fiction, exploring grief, identity, and personal growth in such an honest and emotional way. Lauren Parker is a protagonist you feel; she’s messy, real, and trying to navigate life as a single mother while still carrying the weight of her past. Her chemistry with Ben Walsh is undeniable, but what really struck me was how their relationship wasn’t just about passion; it was about healing, second chances, and learning to open yourself up to love again.

Sussman’s writing shines in the way she alternates between Lauren’s past with her late husband, Spencer, and her present with Ben. The emotional depth in this story is stunning—there are moments of longing, heartbreak, and hope that hit so hard. I also loved the small town setting and the added layer of complexity with Ben’s fame, making their relationship feel even more high stakes.
