OMG this trilogy is perfection and this is the best book of the series! I am saying it now! Scythe and Sparrow by Brynne Weaver is absolute perfection—the best book in an already incredible trilogy! This finale delivered everything I wanted and more: the murder, the mayhem, the banter, the spice—it was flawless.

Fionn and Rose’s dynamic was everything. The grumpy, nerdy town doctor and the knife wielding, chaos bringing circus performer? Obsessed. Their chemistry was electric, balancing tension, tenderness, and that signature dark humor that made this series so addictive. The friends with benefits setup was delicious, but the emotional depth? Absolutely gut wrenching in the best way. Fionn is such a soft, broken heart wrapped in clinical precision, and Rose is his perfect, deadly counterpart.

The small town setting gave this book an added layer of coziness (if you can call it that when there’s so much bloodshed), and the way their pasts and demons intertwined made for such a compelling, edge of your seat read. I couldn’t put it down.

Brynne Weaver nailed this finale. It’s dark, twisted, funny, and unexpectedly emotional, wrapping up the Ruinous Love Trilogy with sheer brilliance. If you love morally gray characters, lethal women, and men who will absolutely kill for their person, this book is a must read. But do NOT forget to read the first two books because they are so worth it!
