These Mermen just keep making me fall in love!! 😍 seriously though I really loved Anya and Daios’s story. When we met him in the first book I was really hoping he would get his own book, we all know I love enemies to lovers and this was one of those moments where the enemy really was the enemy. It was interesting to see them fall in love quicker than Arges and Mira but I feel like that has to do with not having any language barriers this time around. Also getting to meet the depthstriders?! I know each of these books are standalones but seeing the plot progress through each book has been really entertaining and with that ending I’m really excited to see where this series goes!

I don’t think there has been a book in this series I haven’t liked! I love Kate and Harrec’s story, they are probably one of my favorites! As someone who also faints at the sight of their own blood, it makes me feel better knowing a 7 foot tall alien also faints 🤪

Did I ever think that I would be reading merman romance? No. However, possibly the best decision I ever made?! I loved this book. Devoured it. Read it one day. Mira and Arges story is so much fun and I love the idea of underwater cities. I loved playing Bioshock so I mean this truly was right up my alley! Also Byte is the cutest side character ever.

I did it! I finally finished The Hunger of the Gods! I’m giving this book 4 stars of out 5 which is just slightly lower than book one for me. ✨Spoilers ahead for the first book!✨ Here’s the thing I loved this book but it’s still missing something to me which is the same issue I had with the first book. Overall I’m starting to think it’s the characters POVs that we have that is dragging me down. Orka is the love of my life and I’m reading these books for her truly, but Elvar and Varg I am still struggling with. Elvar definitely picked up for me this book but I’m a little lost on what Varg and the Bloodsworn are doing? Their journey in this book, while I knew why they were going after Vol I did not understand the journey they went on to get her and I’m hoping this gets explained in the next book because so far it just seems like a weird plot line to me. Now in this book we get 2 new POVs Guðvarr and Biórr. Oddly enough I LOVED Guðvarr’s chapters he is so slimy and I honestly love a well written character that you’re supposed to hate but also love to see! Biórr’s chapters though just didn’t do it for me either. One thing to know about me is I am a character reader through and through and my love for books comes from loving the characters within them and for me this series isn’t meeting that, BUT the plot and battles of this series?! EPIC! Truly if you love plot and battles and journeys this series is perfect for that and I’ve loved seeing this story unfold. I will say too though for a story about gods and having the gods in the title there uh feels like there is a severe lack of the gods doing much here until the end

This was the cutest Novella! It focuses on the couple that we find dead in the first book . I’d be lying if I said I haven’t been hoping for this to be a book or novella at some point. The small story we see in the first book always has me interested and this book was super sweet. I love that we get a few more details on the world as well!

Loved this book! It’s such a cute and easy read and I enjoyed the banter. It’s nice to just get lost into a quick book like this and I always love the characters. Brie is amazing and Felix?! 🥵 what a man truly. I will say the ending felt weak for me and it was wrapped up so fast I didn’t feel like we even concluded their relationship.

This was the perfect cozy book to listen to on Audio! I always really enjoy a more lower stakes fantasy and this book really had all of the elements for that.

This is the second book in the Orc Sworn series and I loved it so so much more than the first! Natt and Ella had such a great dynamic and the conflict/plot twist I thought was really well written! I will say this is one of those times where I quickly saw how this would be resolved in the end but I was also second guessing my self the whole time too lol. I will definitely be continuing the series because honestly I’m starting to fall in love with all of these orcs and I can see it being a comfort series for me similar to ice plant barbarians.
