Interesting. Loved the commentary from the sisters written in the pages.
The illustrations were amazing.

I was hoping this would have a spooky /scary vibe, unfortunately that's not what I found. The stories were more fleshed out but not very scary, most ended as they got interesting.

I enjoyed this book but the narration made it better.
I strongly disliked all the characters except Alex. He was definitely my favorite, he was so sweet, I loved every scene he was in. The flirting, notes on the coffee sleeves, he made me like Lily for a bit.
Lily on her own I struggled with, she was very self centered, and while she claimed liked all her friends I dont understand how they were all friends. It really seemed like forced friendships.
An issue I had was no one wanted to stand up to their mother or any mother to tell them to shut the hell up. It was implied that mothers deserve a certain level of respect but the mothers in this book were rude, mean and went out of their way to berate their children and anyone who disagreed, and someone really needed to check them. I hated every scene where a mother was present. Now lily's grandma on the other hand, a freaking riot!
I waited the whole book for everything to hit the fan because of the blog and omg it didn't disappoint. Lily didn't get punished as severely as she should've but the brides were in the wrong quite often as well. At the final wedding (Megans) we get to hear a bit of what happened at the engagement party in the beginning, we hear from someone else about Lily blacking out and learn the whole truth. The best surprise, honestly.

This is the perfect get ready for Fall book.
A town is preparing for the Anual Halloween Parade, you follow a different pair for each story as it leads up to Halloween. Each has its own twisting love story.
The first story you find out the Secret to Bellalunas Sweets and how they help fate along. Second the magic of setting up a haunted house, and how love spells might not give you want you want. Lastly we go into the courthouse and see some of the planning of the Parade and how everything and everyone isn't as it always seems.

I loved this book, it totally blew me away. Started off strong because it began in Lexington, soft-spot for my hometown.
I liked Luke from the beginning, the humans on the other hand took a bit of warming up. Callie and Lukes banter was very well done, I found myself laughing out loud several times.
Hands down the best part was when they traveled to Hell. Meeting the Demons, Lucifer and Lillith; I was on edge the entire time and couldn't put the book down.

Some of these stories were verging on scary.
I had an issue with the format, there was no break between stories so it was hard to tell when one ended and another began.
It seems these were submitted stories because the grammar and spelling got pretty bad in some of them.

This book was so boring. I struggled through 6 stories and just couldn't force myself to finish.
The stories were either extremely boring or disgustingly gross.
The title of the book was very misleading, 20th century ghosts was the title to one of the stories inside, because the title I assumed the stories were paranormal related, they were not.

Well researched and extremely informative.
Started with Lori's childhood and goes into some of the trauma of her life, before giving a bit of Chad's backstory as well. I like that it started with a bit of backstory, helped flesh out who these people are.
I have kept up with this case from the very beginning and this book did a good job of giving all the fact based information. It was a more dry read, but I appreciated that it was based on facts and didn't have an authors opinionated tone.

The more I read this series the more I dislike Nate. He's just a bad person, and doesn't deserve Blair or Serena.
Love the lighthearted schools almost out feel of this book.
As always there is a bit of outdated/problematic storylines.
