- Oh, my heart, this book. ANDER AND SANTI WERE HERE is truly something special. I loved everything about it. The openly welcomed queerness, the love for San Antonio, the grappling with unfair and scary situations.
- Ander and Santi are incredible characters, both still finding the softness and joy in life amid brutality.
- This book also toes the line between YA and NA with some borderline spicy scenes, and I appreciate a book for young people that doesn't shy away from that aspect of life, like teenagers don't experience it.
- I feel like I can't put the beauty of this book into words. It's really a must read if you like YA, queer lit, Latine lit, or any combination of those.

- One of my favorite series has finally reached its conclusion with THE BONE SHARD WAR, and I am so sad to see it go.
- I spent a lot of the previous book wondering why Lin wanted this so much, and am grateful this was explored in this installment. (trying not to be too spoilery here, lol)
- While this book was a bit overlong, I felt like I got closure with all of the series' many characters and plotlines, which can be tough to pull off. I'm really excited to see what Stewart does next.

- CONFESSIONS OF THE FOX is one of the strangest, most fascinating books I’ve ever read. I loved the structure, with the body of the book being the “lost manuscript” and the footnotes being the professor telling his story alongside the manuscript.
- There is so much going on here, I hardly know where to start. Everything from the historical erasure of trans people to the prison industrial complex is pinpointed and torn down in a frenzy.
- For me, things got a bit muddled at the end of the book, but overall this book is well worth the trip there. Do pay attention to those content warnings though, as it’s pretty grossly graphic throughout.
