Revisiting my favorite series before the companion trilogy arrives.

This book is really beautifully written. Just lovely descriptions of food and wine, while making you feel the crush of restaurant work as well. However, I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I was younger. I'm just too old to put up with this type of male love interest, even in the pages of a book.
