As a romance, I’m not sure how successful this is. It does fit within genre requirements, and I am happy the two main characters are together. But the emotional punch for me personally all came from the times when they were apart, as did the growth of the characters and most of the plot. When they finally got together it felt too perfect? Boring, really, and over so quickly without enough resolution of their issues in my opinion. 

really nice writing style. love the prose, enjoyed the horror elements. I wanted a little more of a point to the story arc, though.
