This was a great Hallmark-y book to get me in the mood for Christmas! I think it was a tad predictable, but still a good time. Has some spice that's sprinkled through the last third of the book and it's nice, but once that point hits the pacing really shifts dramatically. A lot of fun!

Generally a decent quick sci-fi romance. However all I can think about when I see the cover is Shawn Spencer.
It's a little repetitive and there's not a ton of buildup before the romance begins, and then the plot happens, and then the romance continues, but not a bad time. I think the next two books will just be more of the same stuff though.

A pretty good novella! Despite its short length, Hazelwood does a good job building a relationship between the characters that is believable and adorable. a great way to start off the Christmas season! 🎄🎁💓
