This book was great! I was rooting for the main characters. Their romance was swoon-worthy, and the plot was great! The action was actually decently written and I didn't cringe horribly at the smut. Solid romantic fantasy, I love SE Wendel and her work!

Overall, very mid. The pacing was odd. The main issue was resolved in a matter of a couple pages, and we mostly got buildup. The fates mates kiiind of came out of nowhere, but was hinted at sort of? The magic system was not explained and we almost never saw the witch magic except for like, picking up pastries, or stirring tea or something. Also smutty which I'm not objected to, but the sex scenes were not very well written.

I did get the fall vibes, though, and I enjoyed that aspect. I think it could have been better.

This book is so short but drags. The motivations of people didn't make sense and honestly, I could not care enough to finish.

Enjoyable! I'll certainly read book 2. 

It was good! I liked that (keeping it vague) there were consequences and not everyone came out okay in the end. I don't see a point to reading the sequel, though. Solid, spooky read.

I literally went through the glossary. We need different edgy words for child predators and potatoes? Really? This is actually ridiculous 

Absolutely adorable! A werewolf romance novella where both the MCs are over 40. I had a good time- you will probs want to read the novel this companions for context of the world and stuff, but I liked this so much. There was a 3rd act break up but it was resolved quickly. Overall a fun and quick and 🔥 read!
