A Hunger Like No Other

Book starts with our hero grabbing the heroine and making out with her while she's begging him to stop and he's like, opening clothes and stuff. Rapey so he's not redeemable. RIP

You might like this if you like Ender's Game and Cinderella and Ready player one. But like everyone in this book can't recognize each other's voices, or put two and two together. (It IS a Cinderella retelling, but like... Not original). Also the dad is worried and wants to keep Stella safe and he is protective and doesn't want anyone to know about her, but he's also a jerk to Stella and makes her WORK AS A JANITOR AT THE SCHOOL? Overall short and not horribly written, but not well thought out. 2 stars.
informative

This book does a really good job investigating rural communities and the politics, sociology, and economic interacts with these communities. It does use some politically charged language sometimes, which I prefer to keep out of books about this, but otherwise it's great.

Still love Carys and Gav! They're my Wendel comfort couple. The story itself was originally part of an anthology I think, so there's still a lot of holes and I think parts that are mentioned in the book that I would have loved to see more of. Overall a fun time, a good comfort book that's short that I don't have to think too much on!

I think this was a fun book! I loved learning more about Allarion and seeing some of Molly, and their relationship buildup was a lot of fun. I like that we actually got to see the two characters struggle and bond despite their issues. I think the book was a tad predictable but overall satisfying!

Ehh, it's alright in the ways of plot. The writing itself is pretty though

cute and good Christmas story. not perfect and defs had some plot holes but it was nice for what it was.
