Good romance novel, nothing ground breaking but very fun! I'm glad it reversed the Hallmark trope of "woman leaves dreams behind for man".

This book sells itself as "once upon a time meets the office", right? Well, if you're going to say Your book is "like x thing", it needs to actually be like x thing. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that the author was aiming for a Jim/Pam thing? Because that's "The Romance" that everyone watches the office for- a compelling love story built on friendship. Nope. This was just our main chick thirsting after the legs of the bad guy. Which is fine. It's all good. But not when you sell it as The Office. I think the author needs to rewatch the series and learn how to market this book to the correct audience, not Office fans.

I'll have more thoughts when my brain is fully awake- overall, a good book, ESPECIALLY for a debut, and the romance was compelling and beautiful. I love 99 and Ferren, and I hope we see more of Calli and Thea and August. I loved the religious trauma displayed and discussed, and how love can overcome that for Ferren. I adore that. Great book, as soon as the author's Etsy comes out I'm ordering a signed copy.
I'll say -.25 stars because the end was a smidge rushed, but it didn't ruin my enjoyment of the book.

I won't rate it because I'm bad at rating comics- but enjoyable and fun! A great continuation of ATLA.

3.75 for real for real. A good enemies to lovers IMO, but fairly generic. There's a good element of religious trauma and how realizing it and leaving it can be painful, and I really enjoyed that aspect of the book! I'll probs look at more of this author's works.
challenging informative fast-paced

I won't rate this book because it feels autobiographical on some level. Even though it's short, it's educational and intimate, and I feel like it's a good intro read to anyone who is curious about what feminism means and encompasses.

Fun, but not as good as the sequel! Smutty which is cool if you like it, but I would have loved more relationship building.

5 stars. I love my child, Murderbot. Also the audiobook is *chef's kiss*.

Solid queer romance IMO
