For a short story, I feel like this was well paced and wonderfully done. The romance aspect was a little fast, but it IS a short story so I can overlook that. The spice was nice, and I like the werewolf and witch dynamic.

This book. It dragged. Hard.

I love the author's writing and voice, please do not get me wrong. The story of this series takes place over a couple of weeks (said on the book) but these books should have been a duology, in all honesty. The magic system did not feel well explained (and maybe that's the purpose), but also Fairaine does not feel like a strong character. We are told she's strong and she believes she's strong, which is nice, but she's fully manipulated. The final dragon fighting scene, which has been built up for the whole series, was done in about 30 pages at the end. Finished. Done. Pbbt. Also... The sex activates her rock powers? Unsure on this one, lads. I'll give the author's other series a try.

The narration in this audiobook is amazing, and a full cast. It's amazing and I adore it.

I don't rate poetry, but this is the shit posted in Instagram captions. Not horrible but I wish there was more. It feels like every other Instagram/TikTok inspired poetry book.

I loved Rory and I ADORED Hazel and her conversations about body positivity. This book was a lot of fun! I enjoyed it more than the first, I think. 

Just too heavy of a read for me at this time honestly- some day I will return.

I'm not a big historical romance girlie, but I enjoyed this! The art style threw me off a little, and it feels like the story was fast, then slow, and then fast again. Overall really great! If you like anything Austen or Bridgerton, you'll love this. 

A million stars. I cried. This book is well written, yet deep and reflective and simple. The book doesn't seek to answer the question of what our purpose is, but instead seeks to help us figure out for ourselves, and doesn't come off as condescending. Absolutely wonderful. And the audiobook narrator did an amazing job!

I enjoyed this, but it feels like everything kind of happened in the last 5%. Otherwise there was good world building and I enjoyed it!
