Huh. Going to be a no from me. At first, I was super excited and hyped it up to myself more than I should have, but it really wasn't that great. Elsie's character felt one dimensional, Jack was an asshole for literally no reason, and their whole enemy thing could've ended with an actual conversation. The storyline was also weird. Elsie's side job having to be so secret was just an odd vibe. There were never any sparks between Jack and Elsie either. A big nope from me.

This was so good?? I wasn't sure what exactly I was expecting, but, Cedric and Felicity were SO cute and ooofff those scenes were

I feel like I have an unpopular opinion, but I actually did enjoy this more than I expected to. I definitely found the pacing to be weird, some scenes were confusing, and I felt like this did try to incorporate too many elements.... However, I thought the writing was great and I definitely felt the spooky atmosphere of the ghosts/magic/cult bit and thought the eerieness was fantastic. A solid 3.5 for me.

The sparks and Christmas vibes were immaculate. I think Iris and Gio were super cute, this book had such a cozy atmosphere, and I loved the secrets and mysterious aspect of this as well. I don't normally love Christmas romcoms but this was enjoyable.

Ooooh I devoured this. I think Lexi and Jake were cute and those sparks were going crazy. I think their meet was adorable and the song about her blueberry pancakes was fun. This was just a fun and entertaining (kind of) high stakes romance.

Mabel was absolute sunshine I just loved her. I think she and Alfie made a sweet pairing and I loved seeing the arc of Alfie. I will say, some dialogue felt a bit wooden and not all characters felt as fleshed out as Mabel and Alfie, but still enjoyable.

I wasn't expecting this to be as heart wrenching and as heart warming as it was but here I am, quietly crying over this. I loved watching Noel and Jonah get what they think they always wanted and then their arcs from that, so much growth from them. I loved their sparks and Christmas vibes.

This was humorous, fun, mysterious, and twisty. I absolutely loved the orchard and wedding shower vibes and the perfect setting for a murder mystery. Leila did such a good job at sleuthing and I enjoyed looking for clues with her.

I think this had such an interesting premise but I don't think it was executed as good as it should've been. The details and world building were whimsical but Niamh and the other characters felt a bit stiff and the magic system felt wooden. Most things didn't feel fleshed out and it made it hard to enjoy. A very low 3 star.

I was so excited but this was just not it. I feel like witchy romcoms are getting super popular and maybe a little too similar, because I felt like I've read this before. The material just wasn't that unique and I didn't like or care about the potential pairing. Only a few chapters in and I realized I didn't care about the story. 2.75 stars.
