I'm obsessed with any little small southern town missing persons mystery that has a little bit of magic. Ginny wrote these friends beautifully and all I have to say is... Hart and Evie. The reveals at the end made my heart break and I wasn't expecting a single one.

This is between 3.5-3.75 stars for me. I love the idea of this book. Doorways that lead to magical worlds? Sounds enchanting. While I loved the characters and how quick this is, I'm not sure how I feel about the lack of details for these worlds. It's almost like you're given just enough detail to have a basic understanding or as if you're on the outside looking in and not immersed in these worlds. It's not something I'm used to in fantasy.

I absolutely love a good, magical and cozy mystery. This was my first time reading this author and I fell in love. I loved how the candle shop sounded, the bewitched boyfriend and murdered boss mystery was intriguing. I'm going to read this first book in this series, because this already sounds like it's going to be a fav series.

I love cozies that have to include weddings! Sweet but also a lot of drama. I found myself annoyed with Carrie and Dylan and I didn't care for them too much but I did like how Carrie investigated.

I don't normally care for YA anymore but this was super good! I loved the enemies to lovers, the supernatural aspect of the ghost speaking powers and then going into a unknown/unique world.

I'm not sure if I like this book as much as I think or if I simply like it way more than the first 2. I liked that we spent time at Eleanor West's school as well as experiencing new doors but... something wasn't clicking. While I liked the nonsense world, there wasn't much of a plot. If the book was about just being in this world and experiencing it I guess it works. I also didn't like how Seanan made Cora's only personality trait being "the fat girl." A 3.5-3.75 for me.

While it was nice to see a new world, I didn't care for Jack and Jill AT ALL. I just really don't like their characters and their parents were the actual worst. I did it find it interesting that their world altered their paths though. Other than that...this was boringggg.

Fairytale retellings can be hit or miss for me but I absolutely loved this one! This beauty and the beast retelling was whimsical and lively and beautiful. I loved this authors take on the classic and I absolutely adored the characters. The descriptions and details were painted so vividly.
