This was a thrilling book! First time reading this author and I thought this story was well executed and I was pulled in from the beginning. A stunning first impression.

This was creepy, unusual, weird, and oddly sinister at times. It was also incredibly captivating. I wasn't sure how well it would be considering it's a fairly short book, but there was still plenty of detail.

I got about 115 pages in and DNF'D. I wasn't vibing with the characters, plot, or pacing. I didn't care for the execution and this also felt incredibly boring.

Definitely a trigger warning for violence against women and animals, it felt like...too much. That aside, this was an interesting, gothic, sinister story and it gave me the creeps. I would give this 3.75 stars.

This was my first time reading Libby Klein and I loved this! I loved the cozy vibes, the characters, the banter, and the mystery! This was a definite page turner! I can't wait to read this again when it's autumn!

This book has my heart. Is was heartbreaking, heart warming, and powerful with so many important topics, that were nice to see through the eyes of a child. This was beautifully written and everything was well fleshed out.

This was a sweet, fast read story about friendship, empathy, personal challenges, and facing fears. I loved how the friendships were formed and how Breanna grew through the book. It has an amazing message about everyone having their own challenges and how that's okay. I do wish there was a little something more to the story, perhaps a more unique ending, but it's a middle grade and because of that I'm less critical. Easily 3.5 stars.

A magical story with a touch of whimsy, and important neurodivergent rep. Ramya is a lovely girl and I enjoyed seeing her experience through her eyes. I absolutely adored our cast of characters and how well written they were, they felt like my friends. This was just a sweet and lovable book.
