Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC.

This was such a good story! T.J. Klune knows how to break hearts with his words and how to make it better again. I went through so many emotions in this story and it has everything I love in regards to dynamics between the pack, the banter, the characters themselves, and the plot. It's a book that stays in your head.

This was such a magical read. It was so fun and interesting and a quick read. The characters were charming and we all love mythical creatures, right? I also loved that this story incorporated Hanukah and Judaism, giving people a chance to learn more about it. Kalyn Josephson is so good at storytelling!

This was so good! First time reading a cozy by this author and I loved the more unique setting for this book, the vibes were on point. I loved that this could be read as a standalone and it just makes me want to go read the others before this one! I loved our main characters, they had such a fun dynamic and the mystery was so thrilling.

First time reading a cozy by this author and 1.) I'm now in desperate need of October/Halloween vibes again and 2.) I really want some ice cream. This book was so fun and I really enjoyed our cast of characters. Every review talks about "the method of murder" and for good reason, it really was brilliant.

This was probably my least liked Lacie Waldon book because it was simply 'just okay'. I didn't really connect with the storyline or the characters, in fact I was bored by our FMC. The romance didn't hit the way I wanted either. I think what I liked most was the beautiful setting, it sounded amazing and I think it makes for a good summer read.

I fell in love with this story so hard, it had me in a chokehold. First, the food. The descriptions of it were so good, I was akways hungry. Second, learning about vietnamese culture and the camps Bao and Linh's families had been in and the nastiness they faced. Third, our characters were just great. Bao was gentle and sweet and Linh was focused and driven. The banter between them and the families had me in my feels.
