This story felt like a warm hug! The bakery aspect was so yummy, the family was so lovable, the mystery was thrilling, and I wasn't expecting witchy AND paranormal investigating! I listened to this story and the accents were on point! Bailey remains one of the best cozy mystery writers, this was incredibly enchanting.

Going back and forth between 3.75 and 4 stars! I really loved the steamy romance here! A story with enemies to lovers and a strong, badass heroine will always have my heart. I loved the shorter chapters and writing style, I also enjoyed the plot more than I thought I would. I didn't care for dual POVs and it was a bit gory for my personal taste, but it was super fun and entertaining.

This could have been absolutely amazing. The premise sounded interesting, I liked the characters, there was a crazy plot twist...but there were also issues with the plot itself. It felt rushed and because of that, the details aren't as fleshed out as I would have liked and it could have used maybe an extra 100 pages so that everything was more cohesive. Easily 3 star or maybe 3.3.

This was a beautifully written, poetic story of Lilith, who, I now have even more respect for. The dry humor, the storytelling, all of it was a compelling read and I enjoyed it so much.
