This had a nice lighthearted and whimsical touch to the story. I really enjoyed the characters as well.

There were so many elements I loved about this! The magic, the political intrigue, the world building, the adventures, and the characters! While it was definitely a slow burn, it was done so well and didn't feel like a 700 page book. The attention paid to detail was amazing and every character served a purpose and it was so nice to see. I haven't read many epic fantasy but this was so fun!

I really enjoyed this mystery, I was definitely entertained! I loved the 1920s era for this book and the story was so fun. I also liked that I was able to read this pretty easily as a standalone.

This was a sweet and fun YA romcom! I don't normally read YA romcoms but I do think this one was cute and done well. Dylan and Theo's romance was so sweet and their characters were super lovable. I also love a romance that includes food, it sounded so yummy! I also loved the sprinkles of knowledge on Chinese culture, it was super interesting! An easy read for sure!

While I appreciated the messages about mental health and grief, this missed the mark. I was excited to read a historical, gothic novel set in an old manor but the writing style threw me off and made it confusing. Also. It just wasn't as intriguing as I had hoped it would be.

I know Katee Robert and smut go hand in hand but this was, dare I say, *too much* smut? The plot actually sounded really interesting, Mina wanting to dethrone her prick of a dad, but there was so much sex that this was borderline cringe. Honestly, it read like a 2 star and it's only getting 3 because I lived for how chaotic Wolf was.
