Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC.

While I appreciated the messages about mental health and grief, this missed the mark. I was excited to read a historical, gothic novel set in an old manor but the writing style threw me off and made it confusing. Also. It just wasn't as intriguing as I had hoped it would be.
