Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!
From the synopsis, I knew this was going to be a weird one but I didn't realize how weird. I loved it! It was a campy, hilarious, unique concept that I devoured. We have these two immortals that are always arguing, stuck on a neverending island, having to fulfill tasks day after day...it was pure entertainment! And the ending?? Oh it got me.

This was such a sweet, fun, breezy read! Obviously a great read for the summertime, but good for anytime! I loved the representation because it didn't feel forced or awkward, the characters were adorable, it went over important topics that are relatable but the story was still light and easy. Overall, such an enjoyable time!

Honestly, I didn't think I would really like this book. The synopsis sounded okay and it was the cover that drew me in. However, I'm pleasantly surprised. It was a little hard to get into, a little slow, the story was a little weird but the more I read the more I had to keep going. I liked the characters well enough and the plot was unique (to me.)

This is one of the best middle grades I've read in a long time! I loved how the story incorporated both magic and science, it gave it such a whimsical feeling! I also loved how it had an important topic as well-grief. It was very easy to relate on that topic. Of course, I also loved the friendship between Juniper and Mateo, middle grade friendships are some wholesome and lovable. I will say, juniper's character wasn't written the best and sometimes she seemed one dimensional but overall, a really good story.

I really liked this! You can read it as a standalone, which is good because I didn't realize it was the third in a series! I loved the characters, mystery, writing. It was all very intriguing and I quickly devoured it!

This wasn't good...I loved the representation in this book but it fell flat. The characters weren't super interesting, the plot was lackluster and boring, and like the other reviews, it was just confusing. I did DNF at 35% so maybe it gets better past that, but I couldn't keep going.

I didn't realize this was third in a series but I was able to read it as a standalone and that's great! This was such a delightful and interesting quick mystery! The author was really good at creating clues and twists that weren't predicable. Will definitely read more by this author!

Oooh this was a good one. I liked how both narrators (Faye and Rachel) were unreliable and both felt secretive, it definitely added to the mystery. Normally, I don't like books with more than one narrator but this was really good. I also liked the twists that were included, I think the story definitely benefited from them.

A beautiful, wholesome story that blossoms as it goes on. This book just made me happy and felt like sunshine. The illustrations were incredibly gorgeous as well.
