I normally adore cozy mysteries but I think this is the first time I'm not finishing one and I'm rating it 2 stars. I liked the animals...the mystery was fine...I didn't particularly care for the characters. I was just so uninterested in what was going on that it was so hard for it to hold my attention. Full transparency: I did DNF at around 40%.

An incredibly "just okay" romcom. I didn't like Dax or Kailyn, individually or together. I thought their feud was actually pretty petty, and I was bored. I also love steamy romances but for some reason this one just made me roll my eyes and skip over those parts. This book just wasn't a fun time.

This was a beautiful, heartfelt story about a teenager and her daily life. From making new friends, asking out her crush, navigating her indigenous heritage and family. It's such a sweet story of being brave and being true to yourself with some really good messages for teens and preteens of today.

I definitely loved Ollie and Francine as individuals and together. I loved the slow burn and how the book navigated some tougher subjects with family and heritage, it made it feel relatable and raw. The only real issue I had was that pacing threw me off and some of the details didn't feel polished enough so it was very hard for me to give it 4 stars.

This book was a stunning masterpiece! The visuals and details and magic and world building was so intricate and beautiful and unique. I could envision this world so perfectly as well as the characters. Some characters threw me through a loop but I loved the dynamics and friendships and even romance. This was just a beautifully written story that felt almost dreamlike.
This had all the characters and details from Wonderland and I comple forgot how weird but wonderful Wonderland was (oops

Honestly...this was just okay. The main character was a little annoying, the plot wasn't very unique, and it was a little boring at times. I started to just skim pages because I literally wasn't missing anything...there was just nothing going on. This could've done with more editing and some polished details.

It had the mysterious, eerie atmosphere I was hoping for, it had the twists and turns I wanted. It kept me on my toes and I definitely enjoyed it.
