Regency vibes meets cozy murder mystery, I love that! I loved the characters, dialogue, the vibes. It was cozy, witty, funny, and it actually had a pretty decent mystery with some twists. However, my rating is lower because it was pretty slow paced and did drag on at certain times.

I was so ready for this because I love a good epic fantasy! I love stories with dragons and magic and lore! And those were all really great here, Arcady and Everen? I ship. I just...didn't like the writing style. I don't really like books where the narrator is addressing the reader and I also got confused with the multiple POVs. That being said, it has excellent world building, lore, and character personalities.

It was a cute, light, fluffy Christmas romance. I will say, I found Finley to be pretty annoying at times but Arthur had me cracking up from the beginning. I really love the magical, warm feeling this book brought me, it was a great read to get into the holiday spirit. Other than Finley's character and some parts feeling like a drag, I really enjoyed this book.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would! I loved the elements of magic, power, and sisterhood. I loved the dynamic between Frances, Lena, and Maxine. The world building was well thought out and the twists were unexpected. The ending??? My heart stopped. The villain is NOT who I thought it would be. Can't wait to read the sequel!!

Another good SJM book! I enjoyed Celaena's character, she was so confident and strong. I loved the world building with the layers of the murders and the competition and the romance thrown in as well. I was rooting for Chaol and Dorian to be with Celaena the entire time and now I don't know who I prefer her with. I also loved her relationship with Nehemiah, it was so pure and real. I can't wait to have Celaena's life as a free woman and assassin to the king be explored in the next book.

I'm rating it a 3/5 but I don't really know if it's a 3 or lower. It was fun at times, Finias was probably one of the only characters I could stomach, the world sounded enchanting...but there were a lot of issues. The dialogue was cringe, the author didn't seem to really know how to write romantic couples, there were quite a few sexual threats and kidnapping. I'm no prude, but just about every chapter mentioned sex or there was sex... really?

I've heard so about this series and "omg, the darkling is sooo hot" so obviously I needed to know what was up. I liked Alina a lot and I liked her dynamic with Genya and the darkling until... (If you know, you know.) I also loved the world building, the magic system, the political intrigue. I also felt like the pacing was pretty consistent and I didn't get bored. I have high hopes for book 2!!

This was a sweet, fun, enchanting reimagining of Anne of Green Gables. The target audience is definitely for the younger side, but as an adult, I really loved the magical world of Grace and her new adventures, her bold decision to leave the orphanage and to try to become an apprentice. I do agree with other reviews that it doesn't need to be called a retelling of Anne and that this story is fun on its own.

I loved these authors ever since I read the House of Night series and while I did enjoy this book, it felt lacking. Maybe because it's definitely YA and I don't really relate to YA as much anymore. I did like the story, world building, and it was an enjoyable fantasy read, I think I'm just aging out of the targeted audience!

This was a fast paced, intriguing, compelling thriller. I liked how they gave Abby life instead of just painting her as this poor, sad, murder victim that nobody cares about. Abby felt real and it felt like her friends really cared for her. I also liked how it went back and forth between then and current times, and it really helps you understand Abby's story but everyone's backstory, rather than just what's happening now.
