This was a fast paced, intriguing, compelling thriller. I liked how they gave Abby life instead of just painting her as this poor, sad, murder victim that nobody cares about. Abby felt real and it felt like her friends really cared for her. I also liked how it went back and forth between then and current times, and it really helps you understand Abby's story but everyone's backstory, rather than just what's happening now.

Easily a 3.5/4 ⭐! At first, I thought it was a bit boring and I didn't like Lizzie and Rake so I DNF'D at like 20%, decided I could give it a 2nd chance and I'm so happy I pushed through! Lizzie and Rake have become one of my favorite book couples, I love Lizzie's resilience and strength, and I can applaud the adult ADHD rep as well. As soon as that twist happened, it was so nice watching them fall into place and grow, and it had the SWEETEST ending!

To be transparent, I DNF'd at 48%. I did not like this book. I found all the characters to be annoying, it was either incredibly boring or incredibly over emotional and...cringe. It is a unique concept, with chefs beinh highly regarded in this world and the world building was fantastic...it just...I couldn't get into it.

Ooof this was a good one! It had my hooked immediately. There was a sense of suspense and eeriness throughout the whole story. I definitely didn't see the ordeal with Bee, it made me audibly gasp! Definitely enjoyed the twists and the ultimate conclusion. I will be picking up a physical copy!

Oh man, this book had me hooked immediately! I loved Emily's character and her happy and funny and loving nature. She kept putting a smile on my face. I definitely wasn't a Simon fan at first...but it was ✨ hot ✨ watching them grow together. The ending of this book made me the happiest ever, it was so light and fluffy.
