Uh...no. the first 60-70% of this book was me absolutely hating everything about Naomi, Nicholas, and their relationship. It wasn't cutesy little pranks, they literally were trying to make each other miserable. Naomi daydreamed about killing Nicholas a few times. That's just toxic. Yeah, the last maybe 30% was cute but the fact that they were doing all that...nah just leave each other alone. This was gross.

I got to about 58% in the audiobook and I had to DNF it. I didn't understand whatever sparks were supposed to be between Reece and Benny, Benny was just annoying, and their banter was boring and cheesy. There were a few cute moments but ultimately it was so boring and forgettable.

I appreciate the plus size inclusivity, but I would add a TW/CW for fat shaming, fatphobia. I love Crystal's character, even Scott, though he was a jerk at the beginning and I didn't see the sparks. A unique romcom with important themes. I loved the surprise Crystal made for Scott at the end as well!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!

I loved this! I love a book with a good mystery and botany! I feel like the premise of this mystery was unique, I love the characters, and I enjoyed the world building! I figured this was the second book in a series (haven't read the first!) but this was easy to understand without knowing any details from the first book! I will definitely be picking up the first book to see what I've missed and I'll be picking the physical copy of this one as well!

Ahhh, I love the plus size inclusivity here! I would definitely put a TW/CW for fat shaming and fatphobia, as there were a few unsavory and gross comments made during the book. I also loved how Marcus represented dyslexia, normalizing it. I fell in love with Marcus and April and their unique love story.

Definitely needs a TW/CW for fatphobia and fat shaming. I know this story involved a plus size love interest on a reality dating show, but there were some highly disturbing and gross comments made that might upset some readers. Other than that, I loved Bea's confidence and her ability to let herself be vunerable with some of the guys. I was definitely rooting for a couple and I LOVED how it ended!
