Thank you to the publisher for allowing me to read this eARC!
Unfortunately, this didn't do it for me. I'm not really into time loops but this sounded cute but it was just....meh. I didn't particularly like Gemma and Jack was just okay. The romance was fine. I don't know, it just felt basic and forgettable.

I appreciate the pronunciation guide and content warnings provided by the author at the beginning, I also appreciate that the author gave us some world building and background information before we were thrust into the story, however, it felt like it could have been added upon. I also found myself not caring about the characters until the middle of the book. I will say the last part got intense and the action made up for the slow start.

I didn't realize this was part of a series but I loved that I could still read it as a standalone without any trouble understanding the dynamics! I loved the true love and second chance romance, the characters were so sweet!

This story was well executed, well written, and I loved watching Fatima grow as a person. I feel like there were also important conversations/topics in this book as well.
This had such an important message and I loved how it was handled. The characters were great and it shows us that we need to change what's going on in our real world. It has something we all need to read for ourselves.
I wasn't expecting a campy fantasy but wow this was great. Addie was hilarious and chaotic and honestly, I would probably react the same way to being dumped in another world. The world building and concept of Sakar, the hybrids, and the celestials was unique. At first, I didn't particularly care for the dual POV but then I finally understood and the pieces of everything came together. This was just a really fun fantasy.
