3.5 stars. There's just something about NYC during the holidays that I just love in romances... Seth was sweet and adorable and the definition of a green flag. I liked that Abby confronted and worked through her trauma and I would say that a good portion of this revolved around that. I liked having a holiday romance that was about Hanukkah and learning about that more. There were moments when the romance felt like the side and just kind of there and for that reason, I had to rate it lower because I expected more sugary sweet romance.

"he's like a brother to me" says Lena as she's sexually teasing him CONSTANTLY. Listen, this fuckin sucked hahahaha. Her constantly referring to him as a brother or being like one and then daydreaming about fuckin this dude was super off putting. Also, there's a 10 year age gap (29 and 39) and this didn't feel as mature as it should've been and also why are you fucking your brothers best friend who much older than you growing up??? Eww??? Also, the spice was cringeyyyyy.
