So much happened in these short amount of pages and I can't believe what I read. This was a lot more bloody, horrifying, and twistier than I even thought it would be. I wasn't expecting what happened at the end... Although my suspicions about a couple people were validated. And Charity??? I wasn't expecting that either. But the last 2 chapters had my head spinning and I sat in silence for awhile after I read this. Just WOW.

This gives me the same vibe that "Pineapple Street" did - boring with basically no plot to speak of. Sure, we have the storyline of the summer pact (which the reason for it is completely heartbreaking) and sure, hearts are broken and new loves are created. It's just... Nothing really happened?? Maybe that's the point, we're just following these friends years later and watching the decisions they make. I just hoped for more and I feel a little disappointed.

I knew my heart would shatter when I read this but damn does it hurt so bad. It makes me angry that the reason for this books existence is even realistic and happens more frequently than it should (which is never) and it makes me angry knowing there's real children out there suffering with this kind of PTSD because of the cruelty of some people. All I wanted was to hug Simon and tell him how sorry I am and every single panic attack he had had me crying. The deeply disturbing aspects aside, I loved that he found friendship in Agate and Kevin and Hercules and that we got to see Simon trust and move on from Past Simon.

This was so disgusting and gross and disturbing that it made me cringe and squirm for the entirety of the story. Creating such a potent and terrifying but also poignant horror story in under 100 pages is pretty good work. For how quickly it goes, the storyline and characters are rich and intense. The ending had me in shambles and it's the BEST ending to any recent horror I've read.

It was okay... Natalie was sugary sweet but so annoying and Finn was kind of rude from the beginning for literally no reason. I think the concept of characters being on tv shows in romances is a bit boring and they were just in the wilderness doing challenges and it droned onnnn and onnnn. It was a cute, fluffy read that makes a good palate cleanser but I didn't really care the story that much.

This was so creepy I wasn't expecting it to actually freak me out. I can't imagine being a child, your parents suddenly go missing, and now you're left in the care of a creature called skeleton man and NOT A SINGLE ADULT SEES HOW WEIRD THIS IS?? I'm sorry, but the descriptions of his clacking bones and what he looks like... Absolutely not!!! I would simply just disappear as well. Anyways this was actually scary and I think it's perfect for the spooky time of year.

It's sad how long it took me to actually figure out what Minnow and her friends are... Maybe that's me being dumb or maybe it's bad storytelling idk. It wasn't creepy or eerie like I hoped, the characters were cheesy at worst and bland at best, and honestly it was so boring for most of the book. This could've been a really good but

This was more enjoyable than I'd been hoping for! I did like the romance although I wasn't too sure of the chemistry at first but I was quickly won over. I haven't read many "spooky" romcoms so this was a bit different with the haunted home and the ghost tours and all that and I actually thought it was a nice touch. The magnets at the end was so cute too, love it when our ghosts get some character growth.

I'm shocked, stunned, appalled by the events that took place in this book. I went into this believing I knew who had something to do with the murder and it was not at ALL who I thought. There were so many secrets and lies and watching them come back to rear their head was wild. I thought the mystery was well done as I was taken by surprise but it also made so much sense once everything was explained. Quite a few people got what was coming to them and I loved that sweet, sweet justice. You need to read this!!

Everyone has said how bad this book is and so it's really my own fault by putting myself through the absolute shitshow that this was. Nothing happened for most of the book. Nothing was very creepy. Nothing was even that entertaining. There was nothing until there was a messy and rushed conclusion at the end that I still don't completely understand because it just sucked that bad.
