Wow, this was a truly unique world with lovely writing and an interesting tale! The characters had me feeling so many different emotions! And that ending! I need to know more!

First, I want to that say I love Holly Black so, so much! This book had me frustrated, it had me swooning, it had me pissed, it had me anxious, and, oh, did I mention frustrated?

This series just needs to be filled with all things Cardan! I need a novella or something from his perspective because like book one, he's not in here enough! From page one, I had a battle with how I felt for Jude. I hate, hate, HATE when characters try to keep all these secrets for no reason and make mistakes that have me shaking my head! Spill the dang beans!!! Honesty is always the best policy, I say!

I still don't get Taryn, like she needs to go away! Vivi is probably one of the cutest characters ever along with Oak. Roiben, my man, I love every time you're on the page! Just such a unique and interesting world!

Black's writing  was on point, and she described everything perfectly as usual! And yes, we get a cliffhanger, and I will be desperate this whole year patiently, or not patiently, waiting for it!

This is such a fun series. I like the gory factors, Cresswell—especially Cresswell, and the cool themes that are intertwined. So when I saw carnival on a ship, I was incredibly ecstatic.

Let me start out by saying the book started off very well—we get some killing right away. But then a mysterious guy with a face mask who is the carnival's leader, Mephistopheles, comes into the picture. This is where our girl, Audrey Rose, starts getting a little ridiculous.

My favorite thing about this series has been how Audrey and Thomas Cresswell are a team. A lot of this book Cresswell wasn't even there ... but Mephistopheles was. Uh oh, that means possible love triangle. I hate when you're so invested in two characters, especially when you are at book three—there does not need to be another guy in the picture!

Anyway, so besides Audrey acting ridiculous, I loved the book! The atmosphere was gorgeous, awe-inspiring and creepy—a mixture of the best kind. It was incredibly well written, and I'm excited to see what happens in book four!

This is now the fourth Brenna Yovanoff book I've read, and I seriously hate myself for not finding her books sooner! This one was so much fun and put a whole new unique spin on demons! And yes, all the feels!

Daphne is probably the cutest demon I've read about. Loved her personality! She had struggles within herself, adjusting to the world above, searching for her missing brother, and meeting a human boy, Truman, who will need to help her!

The descriptions were so cool, and the story was original. There was swoon, emotion, action, mythology, horror vibes—pretty much all things cool! It was perfect!

I've been waiting forever for this sequel. Literally, FOREVER! I'll just start off by saying that, yes, it was just as good as book one!

I liked Lana because she wasn't a cry baby! Tough things happened to her and she moved on, didn't wallow in the pity! Also, there's a road trip of sorts and those are one of my absolute favorite things! Then let's put Alexander in the picture, and it's heck yeah from there!

I loved Alexander! Loved learning more about him, his past, and how he developed as a character along with Lana. And the swoon was soooooo good! There's some mystery, suspense, and action all intertwined in this fun sequel! Also, there's a certain character here that I would like a book about!

This conclusion to the series, is one I have literally dreamed of! Get it, DREAM? To have Nicu's story was like a freaking gift answered!

The thing about Nicu is he doesn't fit into a certain category that would be considered "normal." What Nicu is, though, is one of the most specialist characters I've ever encountered, and I feel like this story isn't only one about love, but it can relate for people in the real world.

Now, let's talk about major swoon! My man, my rogue—Lyrik! Absolutely loved him and reading from his POV chapters! While Nicu is sweet and lyrical, Lyrik is feisty and blunt and down right awesome. These two lit up the pages whether together or separated!

Let me just say that Jaster's writing is by far one of the best I've ever read, and I read a LOT of books! Her stories just bring emotion, and oohs and ahhs, and have my life organ pumping with happiness! This series is definitely one that will stay close to my heart!

This was an interesting read, while getting to know more about the Romanov family. The book is beautifully written with a family bond. I just think historical fantasy/fiction isn’t my favorite genre!

The writing was well done and the author put a unique twist on this tale! Now, I didn’t get creeped out like other reviewers have said. I feel like I’m immune to any of that stuff since I’ve seen so many horror movies but there was a lot of cool vibes. My thing was, I just couldn’t connect with the MC or the story itself. However, I feel like a lot of other people out there will!

Dracula has always been an intriguing character, hasn't he? Drink blood to live? Definitely interesting! As soon as I saw this cover, I knew I was down! Throw all my money at that miraculous sight!

I really loved how the story was told through journals, emails, etc. I've never read the original book, but I think I may need to now! I'm usually more of a vampire movie person, but I was sucked into this world and these characters! The bond between these people and how they sacrificed themselves with selflessness to help one another was amazing!

My favorite part would have to be at the beginning when Jonathan first encounters Dracula and all the lovely and creepy descriptions that came with it. From there, things get super interesting for the remainder of the book! Absolutely adored this one and the beautiful writing!

I'm going to say right now that Leigh Bardugo has more creativity and writing skills in her pinky finger than I have within my whole being! But let me just say I did like the book but I wasn't in love with it. Andddddd I wanted more romance in this book!

Let me just say when I heard this was going to be Nikolia's book I was shouting from the rooftops, but here is where things go clunkity clunk clunk. To me, the book wasn't even Nik's story—it felt as if he was in the background the majority of the time, even in his own chapters. The other 3 main POVs seemed to have more interesting backstories with more attention—at least I felt that way.

Then there's Nina... I'm just going to say so far, her story didn't go where I hoped it would... So not sure how I will feel about that in book 2—could change. Isaak was new and a sweetheart and Zoya, well, she's become pretty freaking awesome. I really enjoyed learning more about her.

So a lot of the book was slow, but don't worry there was some awesomeness mingled in. Oh, and as expected, the book does end on a major cliffhanger. But as it stands right now, I feel like all the good things are going to take place in book 2, as if this was more of an opening book. I don't know, but I hope Nik has more chapters next time because he deserves it!
