This book was so freaking fun and good! Definitely my favorite so far! I loved the bickering and banter along with the chemistry between Freya and Brennan! I kept chanting, kiss, kiss, KISS—dang it!

The concept of ghosts along with history makes these books truly unique. Last time we had the Vikings, this time we get Conquistadors! There's action, great characters, and superb writing! Freya's personality is one of my favorites because she's super feisty yet awesome at the same time! I've really connected with her in both books so far!

Also, can I also just say I love the little ghost Sam! He's seriously my little baby! I'm anxious to dive into the next book and see how this trilogy concludes!

This final installment was just as awesome as the last two, and it left me with all sorts of feels! Seriously, these characters are my little babies. Bren and Freya are such great characters! What I love best is that this series is YA and actually feels like YA. What I mean is the teens act like teens and not like they're twenty years older. You get action, history, unique stuff—what's not to like? Now, I want to go travel the world—like right now!

The main character’s humor was pretty good! I just didn’t connect with the story as much as I would have liked.

This cover is so pretty! The summary is so perfect! But I just couldn’t connect with these characters as much as I wish I could have.

This book was so much fun! Maggie had Buffy vibes, but if Buffy were a normal person with an even more hilarious attitude!

The concept felt original even though we've seen paranormal stuff before. The writing had kind of a Diablo Cody vibe, like if Juno and Jennifer's Body had a baby. There was plenty of action, and the side character's were awesome. A lot of people would probably criticize Maggie's mom, but she was awesome! Ian was cute and had perfect swoon. Lauren was also awesome! So yeah, the book definitely deserves to be called The Awesome.

Overall the writing was smart, witty, and fun. I've read the Hollow Girl, which is from another one of the author's pen names, and this was just as good even though the books are totally different! Highly recommended for some coolness!

This book will always get a 5 from me! 💀🖤

This was a fun and action packed book!! I seriously loved Alice and thought she was a great character! Plus, how can you go wrong with zombies? 🧟‍♀️ I need book 2!

What an interesting mix of stories! They were all different yet still pretty cool. I finished this in one sitting, and there were a couple I didn't quite get, but there were some really good ones! My favorites were "Kauhahoa vs. the Mu" by: Patrick S. Baker, "A Western Promise" by: Calvin Demmer, and "Island of Skulls" by: Matt Spencer! Demmer's was definitely my fave, though, it gave me some feels even with it being a short story!! What I really liked about Sculpt Yourself was how unique it was, like it's sort of a thinking novel in a sense. I feel as each year passes by, our society becomes more and more consumed by beauty. What's the next step? How can I alter myself  more to reflect the perfect version of myself?

Whatever happened to being happy with the way your are and accept yourself for your flaws? Makeup is great. I love fun eye shadow, but now, even with makeup, it's gooped and plopped on with so much foundation. In this Texas heat it would melt right off! Plastic surgery? That's where things have gone too far, and it's not hard to believe that something like this in the book could happen one day.

Sculpt Yourself has a great cast of characters. It was character driven and they felt real, like people I could know in real life. They all had their flaws, as we all do. Because no one is perfect and no one can be. Whoever came up with the idea of perfect is a moron. Besides thinking about things, there was a twist along the way that was nice! I kind of wished the book had been written in third person since it had three main POVs, but that's not a big deal. Overall, this book had great diversity, writing, snarkiness, emotion, and all kinds of things to think about, even after finishing! This is the second book I've read by the author that needs to be made into a movie!

This is the first book I’ve read by Alexa where no magic was involved, and I love me some of that, but this one had a magic all its own! Cassandra and Damon were freaking awesome and I always love past loves reuniting! There was great banter and swoon between the leads! Also lets not forget the suspense! And I couldn’t put this one down!

I’d actually like to read more contemporary sort of books from the author! Blood Ties was well written and the characters were relatable!! There was also some pretty emotional spots! Loved it!
