Great start to this series! I love the whole Greek god type aspect.
I was a little worried that this sequel wasn't going to be from Twylla's point of view, and I still miss her point of view, but I also really liked Errin. Things didn't go as I expected them to and there were quite a few surprises. The middle lagged a little for me, but that was a five star ending. I can't wait for the next one! First off, it was awesome that Jennifer put this up for free on Wattpad. Second off I really liked it. It was fun trying to figure out who the killer was, and I also liked seeing the parts from the past with Penn. Penn was my fave! I loved this world and the writing! I felt like I could actual visualize what everything looked and felt like. The action was non stop, there was a great sister bond, and the romance was sweet. There were a lot of things that were predictable that I guessed before they occurred, but that epilogue was perfect. I am ready for book two! Thanks Netgalley! This one was pretty good, but not as good as The Lunar Chronicles. However, I wish a few things would have been more developed. The romance moved too quickly, The Cheshire Cat was virtually worthless and not likable, Mary Ann was annoying, and The King was an idiot. I actually felt bad for the king at first, until he showed that he was all but worthless in any circumstance.
I liked how it had a slow nice start and built up to the action, and when I got to the last 100 pages, I was flying through the book. I loved Jest and Hatta. I even liked Cath for the most part, but my main problem with Cath were her stupid decisions. There were too many of those to count!! Even after a prophesy??? Also I hated how she didn't stand up to her parents or the king at the beginning, but eventually that improved greatly.
Overall it was an entertaining read, and while I did have a lot of complaints, I really did enjoy most of it! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2016/11/22/review-heartless/

I still like The Covenant series better, because I still like Alex more than Josie, but Seth is pretty awesome as usual. I was hoping for a lot more action, but it was still pretty good throughout! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/03/10/review-the-struggle/
This was a nice conclusion, and I really liked the addition of Dom's POV. I am just so angry that my two favorite characters Pira and Leão did not get a real ending while everyone else I felt okay where they ended.
So, I love gladiators, and the fact that they were female was pretty awesome! There was a lot of action, and there was some romance which felt odd and out of place. Overall, this book was fun! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/02/10/review-the-valiant/
What a cool book! The illustrations go well with the saying that it is describing through art. I really liked the diversity of learning the different sayings from countries around the world and what they mean. Pretty much all the sayings were new to me! This one was pretty good, and it was original since it wasn't technically a retelling. Loved Briar! She was strong and mature with having to help raise her siblings. The only downside was Henry was gone way too much of the story, and he was my favorite! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2016/09/26/review-spindle-2/
