Heartless

This one was pretty good, but not as good as The Lunar Chronicles. However, I wish a few things would have been more developed. The romance moved too quickly, The Cheshire Cat was virtually worthless and not likable, Mary Ann was annoying, and The King was an idiot. I actually felt bad for the king at first, until he showed that he was all but worthless in any circumstance.
I liked how it had a slow nice start and built up to the action, and when I got to the last 100 pages, I was flying through the book. I loved Jest and Hatta. I even liked Cath for the most part, but my main problem with Cath were her stupid decisions. There were too many of those to count!! Even after a prophesy??? Also I hated how she didn't stand up to her parents or the king at the beginning, but eventually that improved greatly.
Overall it was an entertaining read, and while I did have a lot of complaints, I really did enjoy most of it! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2016/11/22/review-heartless/
