After reading this book, I had only one thought. I need a camera like this ASAP. So this book kind of uses magic realism where you use a fantasy camera in real life to take a picture with amazing clarity. The camera captures the emotional state of the person and this is why I need it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is that one good book you read to clear your mind. the plot and characters are well written and I found myself reading more and more. I recommend this book to people who need an easy read between their schedule.

This book is vivid. It hooked me right from the beginning and I enjoyed it to the core. The characters, plot, and description are amazing. Though it is a part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. I enjoyed the experience of reading this book.

A Fight in Silence is one of those books that makes you think that every problem has perspectives. This book is told from the German perspective and I should say that it is captivating. It is dreadful enough to know that your country is involved in a war and to add more to the dread the country's sterilizing or euthanizing the persons with disabilities what will you do as a doctor? Of course you will tamper the records. That's what Richard does. And when caught, he's sent to Afruca as an army doctor where his wife Paula is in the Germany with their kids expecting an unknown future. You can't do much when your country is in the war and worse its gonna lose. It was heartbreaking to read this book and I would recommend to all historical fiction fans.

Book Review - Men and Dream in the Dhauladhar
Finally, after a hectic week, I finished reading this book. This book is my first one in the genre of technical fiction. Honestly, I hesitated reading this book at first. But I would've missed the book if I haven't stowed my hesitation away. I enjoyed reading all the characters in the book as they are well developed. A good background story as well as good character development is a big plus of this book. At some points, the description was too much for my taste and I felt the story dragging by the end of the book. Apart from this it's a well written story with good characters.
Would I recommend this book? Definitely!

Just finished reading this book. This book shows to what extent a person goes to pretend that they care. Seriously! The story revolves around Emira Tucker and Alix Chamberlin. Alix is a white woman who runs an online business where as Emira is her black babysitter. The only link between them is Kelly who was an ex-boyfriend of Emira. Alix and Kelly had a misunderstanding in their high school and they use Emira to show who cares best. What I hated is the pretending. Both Alix and Kelly are the same in many aspects. They went out of the way to pretend that they care. They pretend so that they can feel good about themselves. They both are disgusting. Another thing is Alix has some kind of obsession with Emira. She constantly worries about Emira's opinion of her. Just quit it already. I should say that for a debut book, the author has done a brilliant job and I totally recommend to all.

I started this book in the hope that I'm going to read a cosy family story. And I was not disappointed. The story revolves around 3 members of the family and how they see each other and what are their thought processes. The advantage of the three pov's is that we get to see each character as an individual person and I think that was one of the advantages of the book. But otherwise, I didn't feel connected to the story. And the characters were flat and forgettable. I can't connect with the characters as a person and I frequently hot diverted from the story. Overall, it's a short easy read and can be done within hours.

Jodi Picoult is one of my favourite authors. The main reason I like her books is most of the time it is well researched and well written. If you have read a few novels by her, you will know that she has a pattern for most of her books. A medical condition, inner conflicts and a courtroom scene. But this book is not following that pattern and it has my favourite animal, Elephants!

The book is about a mother and a daughter. Mother is a scientist who studies grief from the elephants and daughter is separated from her mother at a very young age. So she seeks the help of a psychic, and an ex-cop to find her mother.

The story had a multitude of characters which is confusing at times. It moves to and fro between the characters and for few 100 pages, it is difficult to understand. But once you get the story, the pages fly.

If you don't like elephants, then this book might be boring for you. Because half the book is dedicated to the elephants. The mother learns most of the things in her life by studying elephants and taking care of them. And since the story is not extraordinary, elephants are the highlight for me personally.

This book will be liked only by Picoult fans and elephant fans.

Wow! I just finished reading this book and I wanted to write here immediately about it. This book is one of the best YA I have read in recent times. It is simple yet beautiful with a deep meaning.
Life Happens on the Stairs is a journey of a 17-year-old Elsie in a bad phase of her life. Her father is dying and she is in a relationship with a guy she isn't supposed to be and life doesn't look good. But she overcomes everything to have a happy ending.
The thing I liked about the book is it's writing style. The writing was elegant without any unwanted details. The story was fast-paced and hooks the reader right from page 1. The characters are relatable though they make questionable choices, we can relate and sympathise with them.
The grief of a family when a member dies is well captured in the book. But it is the chemistry between Elsie and Tyler is the major plus of this book. Though it seems weird that they have such a deep love in a short period of time, it was heartwarming to read. Overall, it's a well-written romance for hopeless romantics.

I started this book without knowing who Liberty Hyde Bailey is. By the end of the book, I came to know who he is and what he has done. This boom is lyrical. It has both philosophical component and botanical components. Being a gardener myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I highly recommend this to all the gardeners.

Talk about books that hook you from page 1. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it reminds me of some high school drama except the drama is between the moms. All 3 women in this book have issues and the way they interact with each other is all written well. Though I wouldn't say this is a proper thriller or suspense, it is a good read.
