I am a sucker for suspense with a twist. This book delivers exactly that. I loved the setting of this boom and found myself hooked to it from page 1. And before I knew I finished reading it. I loved the glam, emotions and competition. I also loved the role of family and friends reminding me that whatever we do, family and friends will make your life full. This is one of the best books I have read in 2019.

I loved every single thing about 'The Dragon's Banker". Right from the setting to its plot everything's immaculate.
The writing style made it easier to read the book even if you do not know the working of the world in this book.
This is one book where the protagonist is relatable and ready to accept his faults and shortcomings. He is law-abiding, funny and clever enough solve some severe problems.
I was sceptical about the dragons and banking in the same book. But I am mind blown after reading this one.
All the characters are well written and they played a dynamic role in the book. I learned a lot about finance from this book than from reading an article.
The bonus novelette was equally good. But I felt that it needs a little bit of touch up in editing.
Apart from that, I love this book to the core and I recommend it to all the fantasy fans. I am looking forward to reading more works from this author.

What the heck is happening! I felt like watching the Mean Girls movie on a loop. It was funny and irritating at the same time. But the thing I enjoyed the most is getting a glimpse of Primm. It's such a cute place. Also, you gotta give it to Holly. She did a giant task of settling in like a pro though there were few disasters. Overall, one can give it a try. When they need light and funny read.

I'm reading a series of books about dogs for a reading challenge. And I requested this book for exactly that reason. When I started this book, I was emotional with all the doggos I read in different books. I was expecting a story that will make me bawl my eyes out. But surprisingly, this book is heartwarming and pleasant. I totally recommend this book to all the animals loving people.

The reason I love translated books are they educate us about many cultures and customs. Dark Mother Earth by Kristian Novak is one such book which explores the Croatian culture. Again in Asia, we don't see books about Croatian culture so this one is an absolute delight for me. I love the writing and the plot. The characters are relatable and I love them especially Matija. The book had folklore stories of Croatia which I absolutely enjoyed. But this is not an easy book to read. This book was challenging for me to read and I loved it. This is one of my favourite books in 2019.

I have always loved Austen's writing and this book is no exception. I love writing in this book but I didn't enjoy this book as much as for my liking. This is my least favourite Austen book and I don't want to say anything more. Because its a classic and I'm not going to look like a fool by reviewing it ( I don't have enough words to review).

I liked this book and I enjoyed reading it. The Winter Sisters are intelligent and they knew what they are doing. The doctor was an pompous idiot and I can't connect with his character at all. The thing I loved about this book is the writing. The writing was wonderful and I hooked into the story from the beginning. But unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the ebook version of this book at all. The ebook version disturbed my reading experience. I think that will be rectified soon. I would recommend this book to all the fantasy fans.

Oh my my! What can I even say about this book! I finished reading this book a while ago but I needed time to process my thoughts. I have read books about people of color but mostly it's biased as it is written by white people. But this book feels more relatable as it is written by a person of color. One of the best books I have ever read and should have been the only winner of the man Booker.

Magic realism has always been my favorite genre. And I requested this book exactly because of that. As I proceeded with the story, I was amazed by the delicate magic realism woven with the harsh reality of rural India. The rural parts of India has always needed more medical facilities. And the mob culture in rural India can't be controlled either. I love the portrayal of rural India more than the magic realism. I recommend this book to all magic realism and multicultural lovers.
