This was a fun story of characters developing real character and of making your own family. It turned out a bit more of a romance novel than a novel with romance in it. The ending was a bit underwhelming, rushed, and some of the character development it tried to achieve was overshadowed by the 'big finish'.

This book is royally fucked up, but it was really good. Finished it in one sitting. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars it that the characterization at times is a bit... off somehow.
