BRB SCREAMING. AJDHSLKJDH WHAT JUST HAPPENED. THAT ENDING THO. I CAN'T EVEN RN.

Fairly disappointed. I liked overall novel, but I think I would've had to have read the first book over again to really feel connected to this family and this world. The ending was abrupt and I feel like much of the book was a little vague in places to maintain mystery, but it ended up detracting from me really jumping into the book. The language was quite stilted and there were a lot of typos and small things that distracted me throughout the novel as well. Not her best work.

The beginning had a fair amount of instant attraction, bordering on insta-love, despite the lack of character development... There was also a little bit of stalking, and a touch of cheating. That being said, there were a lot of parts about this book I loved, but it wasn't enough for me to disregard the rest...
