This series really makes me appreciate the Shadowhunters world so much. Because I read the first series I am already grounded in this world and I just really enjoy it. I feel very attached to all the characters and want them to be happy. Hopefully, that will be achieved in the last book.

I like to start off with that I really liked this book yet I do get the controversy and I think it is unfortunate.
On the one hand, I get that it sucks - and might even be dangerous - to sort of create a message that girls who are gay are just in a phase and that phase will be over when they meet the "right guy". But that is not at all what this book is about.
I feel like we should look at this book as Ramona's personal story and like life becoming aware of one's sexuality can be messy. It is emphasised in the story multiple times that Ramona is not "turned straight" by Freddie.
SpoilerAnd at the end, even Ramona isn't sure about her sexuality
And Ramona's story is so much more than that. A big part is about her family and her future. So don't be too quick to judge this book for its synopsis.

3.5 stars
I really liked the book but I think my attachment to Petty Jenkins' Wonder Woman took some of my enjoyment away since I love that movie.

However, it read like a movie as in it has a sort of three-act feel which I think is pretty nice. Also, the third person POV really helped with that.
I also really liked how the modern world technology and science were applied here.

I really enjoyed this book! It is non-fiction but it really read like a coming of age story. This book was on and off my TBR list since 2014 but I am really glad I read it. It is a funny book with some heartfelt moments which I think all readers can relate to. The ending at prom was so nice and that moment and moments like it made me smile a lot.

I really enjoyed this book. Especially how it ended. This book is most of all about making choices and changes in your life and it has a nice romance.
Fireworks takes place in the 1990s which I sometimes forgot. It did not really add to the story nor did it take anything away, in my opinion.
I definitely recommend it to you are a fan of Morgan Matson.

I think this is a very important story. It is about abuse. It shows the point of view of women who are beaten by their husbands. It shows the difficulty of being in such a situation. This story is a rollercoaster of emotions and I really recommend it.
