I really liked it! I found it fascinated to see the parabatia ceremonies, both water and fire. I had hoped Clary and Simon would become parabatia and they will!!

Favorite one yet. Probably because of all the Sizzy moments. And I am very intrigued by the Cold Peace

Simon mentioned the crap Last Airbender movie! It made me so happy haha. I really liked that Robert was testing the students. He, after all, knew the dangers the students might be susceptible to.

I really liked this one!
The flashback about Jamie and everyone else's kids of the TID really made me excited for the upcoming The Last Hours series.

I like that even though these short stories are about Simon, we also get to see the other characters develop a little. It was fun to have Tessa as a guest lecturer and to have the flashback to the TID era. I like that Clare's Shadowworld is so on its own with even its own history. For me, that gives this world something extra. It is also nice to have a few fiction worlds where I can return to and not have to go through all the exposition and explanations of how the world works since I am already familiar with it.

I really like Simon's letter to Isabelle. It was very Simon

I like that Simon still thinks for himself, or tries to. One flaw of the Shadowhunters is that they are so willing to follow orders and their law that they lose sight of things that might truly matter. That is what made Valentine such a compelling villain because somewhere he was right. He only took it too far.

I think this will be a nice start to an adventure following Simon. I am excited to get to know him a bit better. I had to remind myself what happened to Simon at the end of the Mortal Instruments but luckily the Wikia page really helped me. Storytel does not have the bind-up for this one, unfortunately so I will just do small reviews of each short story.

It was nice to see Magnus through time and interact some more with our favourite Shadowhunter characters and their descendants.

I especially liked Saving Raphael Santiago, What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything (And Who You're Not Officially Dating Anyway), and The Course of True Love (And First Dates)

And I thought The Voicemail of Magnus Bane was hilarious (especially Isabelle's voicemails)
