Zoals onder water is een fijne introductie wanneer je nog helemaal onbekend bent met de dovengemeenschap.

Een leuk kort verhaal om rond Valentijnsdag te lezen (of niet, zelf weten 😉). Audioboek wordt mooi voorgelezen door Susan Muskee.

Een goed boek dat belangrijke inzichten rondom het mbo en de onderwaardering daarvan hopelijk nog meer op de kaart zet!

I thought i would absolutely love this book since my friends do. Unfortunately, the audiobook wasn't for me. I think largely because there is only one narrator for the entire crew. I really hope that if I read the others physically I might enjoy them more?

At times this book was a bit leaning to much to the religious side of things for me but still very insightful.

I will definitely be reading more of bell hooks!

Wauw! Dit boek legt zo goed bloot waar de systemen in Nederland falen. Een aanrader! Af en toe ook echt tranen in mijn ogen gehad door de beschrijvingen van de situaties van patiënten van Michelle van Tongerloo. Maar ook vanwege haar compassie

Homebody by Theo Parish is a beautiful memoir graphic novel. Parish's own journey is so hopeful and heartwarming to read, especially these days. It is a great story for anyone who wants to learn more about nonbinary and trans individuals. If you are looking for a beautiful visual story about hope, self-discovery, and acceptance Homebody is the book you need in your life.

Jaaaa!! Dit is de Lisette Jonkman waar ik van houd! Ik heb echt genoten van dit boek. Mooie afsluiting van de drie boeken waarvan ik even moest slikken of ik deze wel wilde beginnen.
