Verslingerd is zoveel genuanceerder dan Verkikkerd. Lucy haar opvattingen worden tegengesproken als ze niet kunnen. Er zit een genuanceerd gesprek en beeld in over abortus.

En ik werd emotioneel met alles rondom Chewy.

Helaas liep ik me wel te irriteren aan het plot met jaloezie en een beetje girl on girl hate.

En een huwelijksaanzoek op een vrouw haar diploma-uitreiking is een groot hekelpunt voor mij.

Maar ik vind het wel leuk dat Lucy houdt van make-up, een beauty blog heeft en daarvoor gaat.

I'm a huge fan of EPIC the Musical so I really wanted to read The Odyssey!

I love this edition. I devoured the introduction with all the information about the poem, how Wilson made decisions in her translation. I love to read the extra notes while reading the books. However, I do feel like that story dragged after a bit. Overall I did really enjoy reading this very old story.

Helaas erg gedateerd.
Vond het wel leuk dat de Batavierenrace onderdeel is van het verhaal.

Fun short story during pride

Why did that last part make me tear up all of a sudden? The rest didn't really pull me in (which is what I had with book 1&2 as well but I wanted to try book 3 because I read Dallergut Dream Departement Store and wanted something with the same vibes, magical realism.

Mooi boek maar ik ga echt slecht op de nadruk op uiterlijk, gewicht en afvallen. Jammer wel want anders was het een heel mooi boek geweest

Damn that was enlightening and also a bit depressing. But I am very glad I read it! I learnt a lot about the history of patriarchy and that resistance has always been a part of it
